I have been trying to change weight from 16 to 15 have problem with of after an few frames or games I feel like I am squeezing the ball. I notice today there is an difference in span of maybe an 1/8 of an inch 5 1/8 on both fingers with the 16 lbs. 5 and 5 on the 15 lbs. I am wondering if the 1/8 difference causing my problem of trying to drop down.

I have seen many people drop weights because of injuries or even age, but I was wondering about going up in weight. I have been throwing 15 pounds for years and I have a few 16s laying around and every time I break out a 16 I feel my back swing is lower and I am down on the shot better. I don't feel any extra pain if I use a 16 for 1 or 12 games in one day. Speed and rev rate actually increase slightly and more consistent. I just have never heard of anyone going up in weight except for kids when they are growing

myty I moved back to 16 after trying for an year to lower my weight . Former tour Rep. for Track told me to lessen my thumb pitch it seems to working fine I am now using 1/8 to 0 reverse it freed up my arm swing I'm much more relaxed with an 5 1/8 inch span.
