ball selection
« on: June 07, 2009, 02:33:13 AM »
I feel that there's a gap between my Twisted Fury Destruction and my Momentum Swing. The TFD goes super long and makes and arc type motion, nothing angular about it to me at least. I want something that will fit right in between them and read the lanes earlier than the TFD and give me a bit more of an angular look down lane.

If you want a ball above the TFD and below the Momentum Swing, the Brunswick Rattler should fill the bill. If you can wait a little longer, go Brunswick Wild Thing. Same proven cover, lower RG core to help it roll faster, and an even more angular motion.

Hope this helps!

You could knock some shine off the Destruction and it will give you a whole different look.
Try taking it down to around 1000, then back up to about 2000 with no polish. You should see a much stronger read on the lane. Mine from the factory was like you describe, but after experimenting with the cover it's actually quite strong.
