Who would you nominate for the BallReviews.com hall of fame?
« on: January 27, 2009, 02:37:08 AM »
In honor of recently inducted Norm Duke and Del Ballard into the PBA hall of fame, it got me thinking.  Who are the best all time posters in ballreviews history.  Who would you put in and why, past or present?  Not the hall of very good, the hall of fame.

My nomination goes to Ric Hamlin, current username JustRico, former name BrunsRico

Ric has been posting here for as long as I can remember.  He has helped many, many users, including me, in the selection of bowling balls, layouts, drilling options, surface preps, etc.  Any questions about the characteristics of a bowling ball not just Brunswick stuff, he was the man to go to.  He was the only reason I, and probably many others, used a bowling ball with the lengendary Rico layout and why the cg of a bowling ball no longer matters.
Thanks Ric

On the side would anybody put yours truely in?  I got a couple hundred posts to my credit and been here since 04', nothing to shame about

I would also like to put a few others out there:

Mustang Guy-he sticks to mostly the Roto forum but thats customer service right there.

Rags and jls...but only as a pair, they are nothing without the other no offense to either of you but its true.

I've only been around for a little less then 1.5 years but Monster Pike's name should be thrown around in my opinion.

king,

Thanks for the nomination .  Means alot to be included with some the likes of Charlest, tenpinspro, and Rico.  I do it because I like to pass on the knowledge given to me.  Just something I enjoy.

The 3 I mentioned above have to be my nominations for the Hall.  Timeless dedication to helping people.  I could only hope to be on their level on day.

You really need to lighten up a bit.  I don't even know the man personally but I can pretty much figure out that he is one of the nicest guys walking this planet.  Yes, he may not post a lot on this site, but when he does its very thoughtful, insightful and gets conversations and debates going.  He doesn't rag on people, put them down or get into little bickering arguments.  He is a credit to bowling and this site.

Personally I would nominate Sawbones, Brunsnick as he has helped me out several times in the past, Ragnar, Jeff Carter for all the advice he offers on here and for the charitable work he does, Duke Harding because I believe all of us have gotten a few laughs out of his jokes and lastly....

....jls.  He and I may not have always agreed on everything but if you can make a logical argument of your point he will always respect you and your opinion.  Others may not like him, but I believe that he's a good guy that has no problem offering his opinion whether you agree with him or not.
