Mendes lane surface
« on: March 19, 2008, 11:29:56 AM »
There is a bowling center close to my house with Mendes lane surfaces. I haven't bowled there in about 10 years and have decided to give this center a shot since the owner just changed. How do these surfaces compare to Anvilane or HPL. Any help appreciated.

Doesn't AMF own them now? I would think it would be more like HPL than AnviLane but that would be a wild guess.

What I'd like to see is the return of the Mendes pinsetter. Magnets in the top of the pins and the pindeck picks them up without needing scissors. Pretty cool stuff.
