So i show up at the center tonight and the owner pulls me aside and says '' I need you to do me a favor, I need you to slow the ball down on your spares, once you throw over 25 mph the system shuts off automaticly'' I ask '' why should I throw slower what difference does it make if the system shuts off?'' the owner says '' well we have had some guys complaining cause they cant see their ball speed''

any one ever hear of this before? hilarious I made sure I throw the ball just a bit harder for all m spares last night

I thought that was the record on a PBA show?  

I know I throw about 23-25 MPH at my spares, never asked to slow it down.  It's just another perspective of the game.  


...Throwing it harder when someone asks you to slow it down a bit is just asking for problems.  I would have just explained that it's a part of my game and there's really nothing I can do about it.

you are correct... at 25mph qubica machines turn off. why... I dont know?

my friend used to like doing it every night as hes a big guy and not as big into bowling as me so he would just like to see how hard he could throw it.

I wouldnt throw it slower... I would be nice about it and just say thats the way I bowl, sorry your equipment shuts off.

I would do as he says and then purposly throw it has hard as I can during bowling.

What a stupid thing to say to someone. Get some real equipment.

God forbid if Eugene McCune, Robert Smith, Tommy Jones...etc bowled there.

Not true, unless they are the newest or oldest maybe. Where I bowled last year, I had NUMEROUS shots over 30, one hitting 35! NO BS EITHER!!!

Keep humming the ball down there I would. Who cares what everyone else says. Thats funny they all just wish they could throw the ball that hard. I have never heard of the machines doing that though.
