Why do I only see one page?

When I click on a thread like "The Gathering 2009" that I know must be 10 pages long I only see one page. Is everyone like that or has something changed on my browser?

You need to set your preferences to see further back

It is set to 120 days, that looks like the longest option.
any other ideas?

Ron, it may be because thong princess always kept it up and bringing it up every so often and people ading a few posts each time. Now that she is no longer here, no one else has taken her place to do the same. This is just all a guess from my standpoint.

Ron, you can use this unofficial hack to go back two years.  Just click on it and exit, then return to this site.  Don't make any changes to your Preferences after that or you will lose that 2 year ability.

 Actually, you can right-click on the unofficial hack link, then copy shortcut, open another window and paste the url into the address box, then before you hit enter you can change the 732 to any number of days you like as long as it isn't totally crazy.

 I set mine at 1825 ( 365X5 ) which is five years and I can pull up stuff from 2004. I wouldn't recommend this if you are on dialup as it takes a while to accumulate the database.

 I guess you could go all the way back to the beginning, if you knew how many days it was.

  Well, I doubt they would, but you could right-click the unofficial hack link and add it to your favorites, just remember the bit about changing the days in the url before hitting enter.

 Then, you could just open that link in a window, hit enter, and have your preferences set again, if you ever have them mess up again for some reason.

  This is what I did long ago and it works just fine.

I used to have mine set to five years, but on some of the more populated forums, like the For Sale, lately it started giving me an error message, so I had to change it back to two years.  That's why I sent the link for only two years.  

And there is a limit on how far back you can go in these forums.  It seems that the real early posts were deleted or are no longer available, probably due to some server update in the past.

5 years seems to work the best.

There is a second part to the hack - the number of items - but I haven't found a sweet spot for that.

A while back I tried changing my days back to 2920 and number of items to 1000.  I was able to read some old posts in the Faball forum, but had problems getting into the For Sale forum and the Misc forums.

The BR-Tech's response was:
