Any NJ bowlers compete at "Beat the House" in Oakwood Lanes?
« on: August 10, 2003, 11:05:26 PM »
I bowled there Sunday morning for my first time against some really good bowlers.  There were about 45 bowlers there and it is pretty competetive.  I was also wondering if anyone from this site bowls there, or would like to bowl there?  I am kind of interested to know who am I donating my money to.

Actually, how do they come up with the handicap they use for the tournaments?

Anyways I'll be back there again Sunday to get my butt romped!

What's your kind?????  Chris Riga shoots 285 279 and 235 for a 798 and he's been there for a few weeks.......he even shot a 300 against my cousin two weeks ago to play against Steve.  My cousin shot a 279........so unless you shot 800 every time you bowl I don't think they'll tell you to beat it.
