I dont know if you guys are really seeing this in your areas but around the Fox Valley and GB area of Wisconsin their are very few Scratch Leagues and alot of guys who average over deuce are terrified of the terms "Scratch Bowling" and "Scratch League."

I dont understand why people bowlers are freaked out about bowling scratch. Once you average 200 you shouldnt need the saftey net anymore so get rid of it. What is it about handicap that enthralls people so much?

Do you guys Find Handicap very exciting? Am I missing something?
