I lived in the midwest for a couple of years and found every house to be just bone dry. When I went out east for tournaments it felt like a flood and back home here in the Northwest most of the houses seem medium. Different areas just play different, its what the locals are accustomed to and maybe it wouldn't hurt to se some less aggressive bowling balls to combat the lane conditions you see in Texas?
