WHY??
« on: February 02, 2005, 12:26:05 AM »
Is it just me, or are there a bunch of "for sale/trade" posts being put in the wrong area!!

Shouldn't they be in the Wanted/For Sale section, ...not on the equipment boards ?

They probably figure that by putting a Roto ball for sale on the Roto Forum or a Storm ball on the Storm Forum (and so on) that the odds of selling or trading the ball are better since it caters to a specific user.

Best to simply put it in the CORRECT Forum so all interested can see it....

They are using a very well established advertising technique. Targeting their customer base.

If I remember right, Scott added the section after he closed the auctions. It was intended to keep the FS/T posts together in one topic.
