Wilbon accepts challenge
« on: March 03, 2009, 03:07:47 AM »
Well, we wanted TV ratings now we got them. The PBA should really exploit this and bring some awareness  to the sport.

If Malott loses giving up 57 pins he can feel like me (and many other scratch bowlers) on league night.

If they put out a PBA shot then Wes won't lose.  The other guy won't be able to score on the PBA pattern.

I hope they actually do this one! If they put out a PBA shot, Wes won't lose

It'll take Wilbon 6 frames to even get an inkling of how to hit it!

All you guys are missing my point. This will be a good thing for PBA if it is done correctly. Wonder since it is a ESPN staff member if they will charge the PBA for the air time like everything else.

It's already a good thing for the PBA...one of the best things to happen in years.

They should definitely set up a match, and even pay ESPN to carry it, if necessary.  It would be great if they could get as many members of the sports media there as possible, especially SportsCenter anchors.  Attendance should be mandatory for all exempt PBA members.

Smack talking bowling is fun until a Professional calls you on it....Jim Rome your next

I like how Wilborn was like "He does this for a living!" maybe if he remembered that earlier Wilborn wouldn't have come out his mouth wrong lol.

57 is a lot, especially since Wilbon will more than likely get the best coaching available.  Wes will probably still win but I don't think it will be a blow out.

Wilbon has done nothing when compared to Rome. Romey pimp slaps bowling for fun.

So will Wes be giving up the 57 sticks AND throwing plastic?

It won't even be close! Wes Malott will throttle him.  Good or bad it will be ugly.  Will Big Wes throw the globe, or spare tire?
