Will ball plug dry after 7 hrs?
« on: April 13, 2007, 12:32:50 AM »
I think I messed up a batch of ball plug. It is still rubbery after 7 hrs. Is there any chance this will dry hard? Looks like it will be sticky mess.

If the mixture was off, it may never harden. I have had a few do overs
when this happens, usually when I am not paying to much attention to
how mamy pumps I used. Sometimes, depending on weather, it may take longer,
but yours shoul have hardened somewhat already. I would clean it
up and start over.

like Dan said, mix was more than likely off, too much compound not enough hardner, clean out the hole, wie it out good and remix another batch.
