how would u like to win the ur league and lose money... we just won our league and lost 30 bucks after subtracting what the league dues were

Did your league vote on the prize fund?  I've been in leagues where the bowlers voted for the prize fund that was more evenly distributed, therefore either breaking even or even losing some for winning the league.

I think it's a travesty!

nope, we came into the league for the second half the season, the first half was allready paid out, we were told it was good money, asked for a prized fund and never got one, and came in tonight to get our money and was only seperated by second place money by about twenty bucks a man, when we asked no one voted on the prize fund it was just given out by the house

icefiction .. curious .. how much did you pay weekly? How many weeks in the schedule and how many did your team bowl? How many bowlers on a team? Any idea what you paid the house for each game? Did the Sanction fee come out of your weekly payment? Was there officers collecting fees? How much?

Yeah...you won $30 less than what it cost you to bowl in the league. Sounds like sour grapes to me...

you paid (13x16)= $208

into the prize fund (9.5x16)= $152

so you got back $178? correct?

no lg in my home house even gets close to breaking even.. winning the lg i bowl in and getting point money and high average and game or something yuo still come out a 100 in the hole

wow i must be really lucky then, cause every league ive bowled in untill now, if u win u get at least a hundred ontop of what u put in, guess i thought it was just supposed be rewarded for wining. my bad

We won our league on Monday nights cost per night 12 it was 5 man team was 35 weeks and we got back $187.00 So for winning the league we winn negative $233

Is that $3.50 for 3 game ($1.16 per game) or $3.50 per game total lineage $10.50? If it is $3.50 for 3 games .. I think you should THANK THE CENTER FOR THE GIFT!
