I remember someone here said the windex can be used as a normal cleaner for bowling ball, is it right ? what kind of ball can I apply to ?

Windex is for windows. period.
There are so many good bowling ball-specific cleaners out there. If you must be cheap and try to use something not intended for bowling balls, I guess you could try Simple Green mixed 50/50 with water or alcohol.

........or Orange Clean, Formula 409, Fantastik, any household cleaner/de-greaser should work.
