Wizard Ball Plug

I have been using this plug for many years with no problems.  Lately, I am seeing air pockets and it appears the plug is forming a mound over the hole after it has cured.  At first I thought I was stiring it too fast, so I slowed it down with no difference. This has happened in both cold and warm weather.  Has anyone else experienced this using this plug ? Could it be a bad batch of plug ?

Old plug. Left open etc.

Only about 3 months old and I keep the rubber covers on the pump.

This has happened since the first time that I used this batch.  Like I said, I never had a problem in the past.

No way of knowing how long it sit on the shelf before you purchased it. I had the same problem. The plug material would boil out of the hole sort of like a tornado. Tried to contact the manufacture and got no response. Went to DBA.
