Frustration sets in!! wasted possible 800series
« on: January 03, 2006, 03:05:01 PM »
Okay, I guess I shouldnt have went practicing before leauges tonight. I wanted to get an idea of the shot. 2 practice games I shot 266, 278. I start out the leauge night with a 279, fairly happy with that as its my 2nd 279 in 3 weeks (3 overall). I start the 2nd game with the 1st 3 strikes. 4 frame through the rest of the night was trash!!! Any ajustment I made as the lanes were breaking down just seemed to be 1 dissaster after another. 2nd game I shot 133 after shooting a 279!!!!. My 3rd game was another disaster at a 140 game. I just dont get it, I have it all figured out then lose it that badly!? I realized 1 problem I have is ball speed, once I got that figured out I was back on track, but when the oil started moving around I couldnt make any good ajustment.

If I could have used the 2 practice games and my 1st leauge game I would have shot: (266,278,279) 823! Instead I only shot 552 for the night with 279, 133, 140. Just another lovely 500 series to add to my already biulding frustration to this game!!

Suddenly I don't feel so bad about going 240-160 last night...

Look out Hammy, someone's trying to snatch your practice scores crown.

Seriously, you're comparing apples to oranges.  If your 2nd and 3rd games combined don't equal your 1st, 800 shouldn't be in your vocabulary.    Practice scores are meaningless.  No pressure, different pace, no distractions, no one else changing the lanes...
