spare ball drilling
« on: April 20, 2009, 02:01:08 AM »
I was just wondering how you all might have your spare balls set up.I am a fingertip bowler, but i am wondering if my spare ball should be fingertip ,semi or full finger to cut all the possibility of hook out.

I'd recommend using the exact same drilling as your other balls - I cannot remember seing a different thing among serious players. For acouple of weeks I used a fingertip strike ball and a conventional spare ball, and it was totally wacky. I think you even get problems if you use small pitch differences.
