I have a 16# Super Carbide that is drilled pin next to/even with ring finger and the CG is kicked out a mile. There are good things about this ball, and there are bad things.
The good: Great traction in oil, won't really burn up unless you insist on playing in the dirt, creates pin action like I've never seen before.
The bad: Way to aggressive for typical 10-10 wet/dry house shots, over under from the oil line can cause night sweats and bad dreams.
I rarely ever use this ball, as I now deemed it a tournament ball. It will ignore carrydown and OB, in fact it thrives on OB.
If I come up the back of the ball it rolls at my bag and doesn't stop until the pins are dead. I can also come around the ball but that is suicide, since the flare rings encompass the WHOLE ball, it will fly away and land on the next lane.
It is possible to bounce the Super Carbide off the dry but you will need to get the ball completely out from the oil line so it can make it's turn. Playing a deep tight line like that won't work very well as you will be plagued with over under.
It will however be a great choice for you if you don't throw many revs, or with higher speed.
All in all it's a great ball but for me it needs a special condition to be used.

In the old days people used to cut wood with axes.....................now and days...............they just have Executioners do it for them!
Pin_Krusher IS a serious threat to modern day bowling wood as we know it today.
