guzmand19,
I was having the same (or a similar) problem. I have PLENTY of hand, but had to play so deep on the lanes (feet on 45-playing third arrow on lefties side like Robert Smith) that, being the amateur I am, it was very inconsistent especially when the center would change the pattern in any way.
I saw a guy in a tournament throwing an aggressive ball up the track and wondered how, so I asked him. It was a reasonably aggressive(granite gargoyle)particle, shined up over the factory finish with finesse, and drilled cg on the pap with the pin just under and to the left of the ring finger.
I got one drilled the same way and polished it up like he said. I now can play the track area where the strokers play without having to worry if the ball is going to go nuts on me. It has little, if any, track flare and is VERY controllable. the only drawback is that if I don't "hit" it good, it gets a little weak on the backends, otherwise it is fine.
Remember, if you shine it and drill it weak, it probably wont like carrydown but if you have strong backends, like I do, that is a trade-off I will make everyday.
