Do you guys ever workout specific parts of your body to make yourself a better bowler?  If so, please share!

I don't target any specific area. I do an hour of cardio on the elliptical trainer 3-5 times a week. It hits the major muscle groups and leans me out to keep flexibility. I also have a stretching routine. If you decide to use weights, stay low with many reps. Your ultimate goal should be endurance. Another suggestion is to target your abs for core strangth to ensure balance and stability at the line.

1) Lift 12 oz. cans. Preferrably with beer in them and make sure you do at
   least 300 reps.
2) Eat greasy hamburgers and fries.
3) Drink even more beer.

This may not work but the bowler will think so.

This is just a joke.

I have found after bowling big blocks of games in Tourneys that I needed to concentrate my workouts on my legs and my endurance.  When your legs give out everything else follows down the crapper....

Timisu,
Like K-Dawg, I also use an elliptical bike 3 to 4 times per week (although I vary times; the less amount of time that I do, say 10 minutes, the faster I go thru-out to feel it, than if I do 30 minutes--although I will vary speeds thru-out-slow: fast, slower, very fast, slow, and so on).
Stretching is definitely key.  I have been stretching for about 35+ years, and it helps reduce injuries.
Core work: lower back, obliques (sides of the waist), stomach, is essential to overall stability.
Used to workout with weights, but since I've been around 30 am content with doing pushups and pullups.  These exercises, when combined with all of the other above exercises, help maintain good power, and they don't tighten you up as weights have a tendency to do.
I also love hitting the heavy bag for power and endurance.  One other added benefit is confidence that you can swing a mighty punch, should you ever have the need to.
Regards,
