i cannot stress this enough: do not play till you are 100% better. i strained my ring finger but kept on playing for days afterward. i went to the doctor and he said that from pushing it to much i had severely bruised or sprained the tendon, which could take a very long time to heal.(going on two months here.) so i started bowling with only thumb and middle finger, and now i have switched to sarge easter. not for the forward roll or reducing rev, just so i have a more comfortable place to put my finger.
main point: DO NOT bowl till you are healed.
