I bricked a church on the front 8.  That sucked.

needed a strike in the 9th and good count to win and left myself a solid 8 and then a big four in the 10th

Did this 2 weeks ago, big foured many times in the 9 th on potential 250 plus games. Guess that is why I am a leadoff bowler and choker as my anchor man says who averages 15 pins less a game.

Another time threw back to back big four's after having the first 8 in a row.

I haven't had any memorably bad 9ths but before I had my 300 I had the front 9 and went -6 in the 10th. That was my last run at 300 before actually doing it about a year later.

Threw the ball in the ditch on a hambone to lose the game, set and 1st place. Good thing it was only a summer league and the payout was not much different for 1st or second or third place.

Its a wonder they let me bowl on their team let alone bowl anchor!

Got sick from food poisoning in the semi-finals of a big tourney and had to withdraw....
