Parker Bohn in South Dakota
« on: November 17, 2010, 04:40:08 AM »
A nearby house had a singles tournament and got Parker Bohn to come up and spend some time.  He did some trick shots, a Q&A session, and bowled one game on each pair of lanes during the tournament.

Parker's a nice guy and it was really unique to have someone of his bowling pedigree in pretty much the middle of nowhere.  I know I'll be pulling for him to have a good year after I had the chance to meet him.

A few years ago, he was at a junior tournament and my buddy Drew (username bowltowin) was going head-to-head with him and Parker couldn't break him. Parker stood on the lanes and told him to put the ball through his legs and strike. He did this multiple times, even through chairs, etc.

Parker really knows how to entertain a crowd and be respectful of his audience and surroundings.

I'm in the process of trying to find out where I fit in the bowling world. I do not know my tech specs of my game, but it's all a learning process.

Parker is one of the classiest guys you'll ever meet. He was the guest speaker at our associations hall of fame banquet several years ago and EVERYONE was thrilled he was there. It was a great night for everyone.
