Ball Spinner
« on: November 08, 2004, 03:23:56 AM »
Is there something other than a ball spinner that you can use to sand/polish your ball with?Obviously you can do it by hand, but you don't get as good a result. My proshop guy let me use his ball spinner, but he had just had a heart attack so his shop is closed.I was wondering if there is something cheap out there that could substitute the spinner ,that I could use at home. Thanks!!

just spend the money and get yourself a ball spinner. People have tried making them and it doesn't work. Its the best investment you will make to keep your equipment clean and in good condition. You can get them for less than $200 brand new..

If they only made a ball that would carry that da_n 7 pin (and I am right handed!!)

I've seen some people make them, also i've seen people set up something to keep a very well spinning bar stool holding a ball down, and manually spinning it. You can get it going pretty fast if its a good bar stool.
