WOW, it is possible... but
« on: June 29, 2003, 06:27:02 AM »
After bowling a bit less than two years i have rolled my first 300 on Friday night. I guess it is possible for me to do it even though i thought i never would. I ask just one question to others. When you got your first 300 or if you've seen others get theirs, is there always people rooting against them? In the last few days there have been 3 at my home house. I know for a fact that there were people rooting against myself and one of the others that were thrown. Is this truw in other areas or is it the people around here? Thancks to everyone that can provide some insight.

If there were actually people who were rooting against someone shooting a 300 game, I think that the appropriate word is "jealousy".

Here's a good one, how about one of Ron Bahr's "friends" that stomped out of the bowling alley as quickly as he could after Ron shot his back to back's at ABC Nats?  That guy's still pissed off.

Forget Kung Fu, I know Ron Bahr!!!

The only difference between youth and adult leagues are that the big boys are allowed to whine.  They're more entertaining anyway.
