First day of my league today and I did terrible, but instead of talking about how bad I did, I only want to discuss one of my shots. I threw a great shot, hit the pocket flush, only to see something extremely unusual. The ball hit the pocket, and a pin slid over and didn't fall over as expected. I think the 5 pin slid over into the 9 pin spot. It was really weird, the computer system gave me a 9 count, but the pins reset anyways. Anyone else have funny, yet aggravating experiences similar to mine?

During practice, I had the front 7, and then BAM, pocket 6-7-8.  I kid you not.  If I had my camera with me when it happened, I would've taken a picture of it.

I have 2 that I feel other than pins falling and standing back up---beats any other "taps"....

Really tight lanes, really struggling back when I couldnt go straight at all. Throw one good---right up the lane. Hit the pocket flush. Looks like its one of those where it picks up the rack and deposits it in the pit. 1 problem, the head pin stops and decides to stop in the 8 pin spot. No, not kidding. If I hadnt seen it, I wouldnt believe it.

2nd was similar---but instead of the 1 into the 8 spot, it was the 3 into the 9 spot. Same deal, flush in the hole, odd pin carry, the pin spins into another position and just stops.

Have seen something similar when my club house tested a less viscous oil and the pin deck became pretty slippery. The pin mix and what the pins did was funny to behold, but scoring was horrible...

Another thing I witnessed was a 5 falling to the side after a wacky Brooklyn hit of a friend in training, colliding with another falling pin from the right side and standing up again, just in place of another pin! THAT was weird.

threw a good shot, went to have that like ringing ten look but it tips over anyway, and there must've been oil in the pin deck and it just slid over into the 9 pin spot.

Over the summer, go front 4, SMASH 8 PIN, it wobbles, pin rolls in front of it, spare it and go off sheet. lol STILL NO 300.

Mike Im guessing your still bowling Penro. Always fun to see pins slide over and not fall down when they should lol.
