Not legal, but I'm curious...what would
« on: January 28, 2004, 10:41:37 PM »
happen if I bought a can of stickem, sprayed it on a house ball and threw it?  I'm kind of curious to see what it would do.  By chance as anybody been crazy enough to try this?

You mean other than getting that crap all over the lane surface, in the ball lifts, and the ball return?

Not a whole lot probably.  It would hook the first time or two, but then the stickum would come off onto the above mentioned pieces of equipment.

I would not recommend trying something like this unless you want to take the risk of being kicked out or even banned from the house you try it at.  I really don't think it would be worth it, do you?

happen if I bought can of stickem, sprayed it on (insert your object here) and threw it down an icy side street?

Funny you should mention that, Rags.  I knew a guy in Juniors who used to carry around a can of WD-40 to spray on his ball when the lanes were dry.

sometimes I wish I had a fire hose to extinguish that big stinky cigar a couple of lanes over. Or at least a can of air freshener.

guys, I wouldn't try it, I was just curious as to what kind of reaction it would give.  A little touchy aren't you?

I just asked because whatever has been thought of, it's very likely somebody tried it before.

As for wotargara, you don't need to be such an @$$

wotargara, no problem, I understand your point of view, I was just amazed at how strong the reactions were considering I know a few houses  that have used it as a temporary solution during leagues when a machine is dropping pins and they don't have the lanes to move the teams to.
