Wrist Brace vs Tape
« on: September 01, 2018, 09:17:01 PM »
I wear a storm neoprene wrist support that just wraps around my wrist and I control the tightness.  I notice the pros using tape on their wrists.  Does the tape give the same support as a neoprene wrist brace?

depending on how tightly you wrap the tape will depend on how much support you get.  I have found that tape is more comfortable then the wrist wraps you mentioned.

I have wrist problems but I found using a piece of storm gt tape every week helps tremendously

I've tried both and I feel the tape is more comfortable. It gives me a little more flex, but still enough support for my wrist. It also doesn't sweat like when using the brace. Genesis makes a trial pack with 4 strips I believe if you want to give it a try.
