Rhino Page and Jesse James
« on: February 01, 2004, 11:25:03 AM »
With apologies to charlest and his desire for every post to go under the appropriate forum, I'm posting this here due to lack of attention the PBA forum is paid.  Rhino, a current KU bowler, and Jesse, a recent graduate of the same school, are both competing in this week's US Open.  This will be Rhino's first PBA event, and only one of the season, while Jesse has a few tournaments (and a couple cashes, I believe) under his belt, and will also be finishing out the season on tour.  I expect they'll both do very well, as their chances seem to increase with the difficulty of the pattern.  Rhino recently made Team USA, and has been treated very kindly by Ebonite.  Can't pry that V2 Clean out of his hands.  I'm pulling for both of them and honestly wouldn't be surprised to see either or both of them make the show.  For those of you that have heard the names but have never seen them bowl, prepare to be impressed if they make the telecast.

Yeah, I use to bowl juniors with Rhino when he was in SoCal. A very great bowler, and great person. I am hoping to be able to get out to Fountain Bowl and watch him. He should do fine, and I am sure he will have many fans behind him.
