Yes, writing a new bowling book. Inspired by this post...
quote:
How to throw 800 and throw it bad? It sounds like a title of a best selling book...that I know I would buy!
I'll take it!
(I've never seen a bad one yet...but!
REgards,
Luckylefty
The title will be "How to Bowl 800's Without Even Trying"
I'm already writing the rough draft. The chapters are starting to look like this. Looking for suggestions with some chapters.

chapter 1. Go and find one of them "Hook in the box balls"
chapter 2. How to fluff and dump a ball and still rip racks !
chapter 3. How to find the oil line so you have half the lane.
chapter 4. Why only the pro's need good timing.
chapter 5. How to scout for the easiest bowling center in your area.
More chapters to come ! Hey Rev-O ? Any idea's here ?

I like the title: "The Mushtarian Tales"
--------------------
Experience, Shot Making, Wise Decisions......The best arsenal.

Good job!

Open the door...see what's possible...and just walk right on through...that's how easy success feels..

Back to the book topic...
It could be a hell of a seller....
Here is a similar book that didn't take off(titles ARE important).
Written by Bill Horvath, "BOWLING: WHAT THE PROS DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW; High Scoring Made Simple" is a complete guide to better bowling in the new millennium. Contents include: The Physical Game--warming up, timing, armswing, wrist position, follow-through; Today's Bowling Lanes--urethane and synthetic lane surfaces, reading lanes, lane conditioning oil and carrrydown oil; State of the Art Bowling Balls--reactive and nonreactive, weight blocks, pin positioning, finger grip; Physical Conditioning and the Mental Game plus much, much more.
(8 1/2" x 11" paperback, 47 pages)
In this book Bill told of how to area bowl and of the many successes he was able to have in making 700 series and 300 games easy.
I have not been able to get with Bill Easily to get all those easy 700s.
BUT IMAGINE...a book with easy 800s!!!
I'm want my profile to say after reading the book.
"I work all week, walk in 2 minutes before league, throw an 800 when off....and then I REALLY get hot!!"
Can this book do that on the blended house wall?
REgards,
Luckylefty
PS I don't want my profile to say....
"I eat, drink, and live bowling"...Know what I mean?
I'm ready for the "easy way"....I bet a lot of other bowlers are ready to tag along..I'm tired of having a night where I say...I really spliced it...I shot 680!
--------------------
Open the door...see what's possible...and just walk right on through...that's how easy success feels..

Chapter 1 HOW TO GET A STRIKE
Know down all the pins with first ball.
End of Chapter...
--------------------
T.J.
BOWLING IS FUN NO MATTER WHAT YOU SCORE. BUT A 300 IS ALWAYS NICE.
STRIKE ZONE, ONSLAUGHT & PYRO. STAND 22 AND THROW 10 OUT TO 5 AND CRUSH THE POCKET. AT LEAST THAT IS THE PLAN OF THE NIGHT...
GOOD LUCK AND GOOD BOWLING!!!
-
Just knowing that?...Gets 800 series?
WOW!

I've been building a new Bowling Community website and I think it would be great if you were to post excerpts as articles. The website is http://www.bowlingballsandmore.com . Let me know if you're interested.
PS. Sounds like it could be a great book.
