Title: Yeah, uh huh...
Post by: bamaster on January 06, 2004, 01:17:52 AM
So am I the only one thinks some people have difficulty coming up with a clear Subject line?  I mean, the forum is cluttered with subject lines that give you NO indication of what's inside.

Do you click on them out of curiosity?  Or do you ignore then because it is probably a complaint?

Some boards I visit are very particluar about Subject lines.  If it isn't descriptive they delete it.

Your thoughts, concerns or advice?

bamaster, if one is on a board long enough, they get to know who the better posters are and if they see a certain name, they eagerly open it.  They also soon learn which ones to pass over.

Most of the time, it is the name of the poster that attracts attention rather than the Subject line.  Bones
