We have a 22 team mixed couples league. I know you can do what you want in a league if you make the rules by a vote. What would be the up side and down side of setting up the last 5 or 6 weeks like the NCAA. In our situation 1 would play 22, 2 would play 21 and so on. You get the picture. The second round you would have a winners bracket and a losers bracket until you have a champion. I know in our second round we would have a odd number of winners. Maybe someone would get a bye ?  Has this been tried before ? I'm just trying to think of a way to spice up our league. Once again what would be the pros and cons. I'm open to any suggestions. It's always nice to see the underdog win every now and then. By the way my team is in the top 5 so it's not like I'm in last place trying to figure out a way to come in first.
