Your longest strike string EVER?

League, Practice, Warmup and league, warmup and unsanctioned tournament, warmup and tourney?  What is your longest string.

I throw a slow rolling wimpy strike ball(compared to some of the powerhouses out here) that loves to ring corners.

19, and twice in tournaments 25 of the first 27 throws(including warmup).

PS I have several friends who've gone into the low 30s and another friend well up in to the 40s!  Practice of course!

30 in a row 267 last 7 300 then 299=866. Two weeks later 279-300-267=846 last 7 first game then front 9 last game for 28 in a row. Two differnt houses in a travel league.

23 in a row. back 10 for a 280 first game, 300, and the first strike of my 197 third game = 777

Back when I was throwing a Silver Diamond...
I practiced in the worst house in the city of Chicago (on purpose).
They never stripped or oiled, until Sunday night...they stripped.
They oiled Monday afternoon.

I came in to practice on Monday AM.
I bowled 3 games every Monday.
I never looked at scores...
I threw the first ball left a 7-pin.
I went out that game for 290.
Threw perfect the next 2 for 300-300.
I shot 890.
They printed out the sheet for me...I didn't really want it.
A guy was sitting behind me watching me practice...
He asked me to autograph the sheet...I did.
He took the sheet and left.
It was practice...didn't matter.

Somewhere there's a sheet floating around with my signature on it, with an 890 total.

Some days, I think about it and think it didn't really happen.
Most people wouldn't believe me...Maybe you do.
Either way, it doesn't matter.

The only one I know for sure is 15 in a row.  I was 15 at the time as well.  205 with the turkey in the 10th, 300 the next game, then the first ball of the 3rd game I left an 8 pin.

In League play shot 229 – 300 – 279 = 808 with a used Sure Strike I bought from a fellow BR Member. Struck from the 8th frame of the 1st game through the 9th frame of the last game, then left a 10 pin for 26-in-a-row.

In Open play: Rolled 31 in-a-row(house china, of course).

Some of these great totals in league....have you shot more in PRACTICE?

That's where most of the guys I know have skied into the 30s and low 40s of the top rockets!
