Was the Columbia NoiZe any good?
« on: March 16, 2012, 06:48:18 PM »
Went to a "flea market" type place today, and came across one of these just lying on the ground. Picked it up and it felt like the right weight (I have not confirmed this as yet), checked it over and it seemed to be in decent shape, so I asked the price.

The lady said she was tired of the kids messing with it and rolling it around all over the place, so she sold it to me for $1.00

The ball doesn't look like it has hardly been used at all, except for a couple of scratches that those kids probably put on it, but even most of that will disappear with a  light surfacing.

Is it worth a plug and redrill?

I thought it was a very solid ball (no pun intended) .. it wasn't flashy at all but it did what it was designed to do well. I found it to be pretty versatile also. It could be a good benchmark type ball
