and some ball company (I forget which) were to come out w/ a ball set like the Amforces of years ago.. What ever came of them?

My guess is that it was designed to be an overseas line.  I haven't heard much on the development in at least a year but know the partnership was with Daifuku QubicaAMF which is a Japanese distribution arm of that company.  That being said however, it would have been good to see if that line could make it stateside.  The overall concept really makes a lot of sense.
