It would be well worth the trip down to Muscogee to visit with Sawbones & Hose.  Shouldn't be more than a couple of hour drive.

I'm leaving san Diego about 4 AM Thursday morning, might be Wednesday.  Got to be in Branson by Friday night.  What side of 40 in Jonesboro.  I'll be taking 8 East and then I'll have to check mapquest. I think I have to go past Phoenix and Scottsdale on the way to 40.

Bones lives in Muscogee, OK.  Since you're driving, won't be much out of the way.  Think he's about 50 miles from Tulsa.

Nick, if you are going to Branson, and if you are coming thru Oklahoma on
I-40, then the fastest in driving time and easiest driving way to get to Branson is switch to the Turner Turnpike in Oklahoma City, continue on to Tulsa and Springfield Missouri, then south to Branson from Springfield.

Going to Branson by taking I-40 thru Oklahoma and thru Arkansas, then north to Branson is more time consuming and a harder-longer drive. I live in the Oklahoma City area and have been to Branson numerous times. I tried it going thru Arkansas and then north one time and that was enough for me.

Going thru Arkansas and then north is a more scenic drive, but longer and more time consuning.

Brick,  is that feeway like 335 or something like that?  Last year I went to Kansas City MO in May to bring my MC to the Easyrider show and then down to Branson.

Thanks for the info.

Nic, stay on I-40 going thru Oklahoma City until you come to I-35 North to Wichita, Kansas.

Then go north on I-35 for approx 10 miles, give or take a mile and you will come to the I-44 exit (aka Turner Turnpike) to Tulsa.

Stay on I-44 all the way to Springfield, Missouri.

When you come to US65 in Springfield, exit on it and it goes directly south to Branson. (approx 38-40 miles)

Thats it Brick.  All that rings a bell.  Will carry 2 bowling balls with me.  One won't be the Buzzbomb.  I'll ship it somewhere before I leave.

Gary,

I'll be there next week.  When are you bowling or the need for a sub?  If I'm in Branson I'll gladly drive to Springfield to bowl a tournament.  I get there Thursday or Friday and I leave the following Tuesday or Wednesday.
