Well, Yesterday I got my 1st pay check from my new job. I remembered I received a pro/am flier a month ago. I decided to see if they had any spots left via phone, they had spots left so i registered over the phone. Glad I did. I had a blast today at the 3PM squad. The $60 was well worth the money. Even if i had not of shot well it was still worth the money. The pros were having a good time messing with each other and with some of the amatures. The 3 pros i had today were (in actual order) Doug Kent, Michael Haugen Jr., Eric Forkel. To start the 1st game Pete Weber was on the pair to my right and to end the night Walter Ray Williams Jr. was to my left.
The shot was dry, i mean really dry. My normal shot is 30L to about 11-8R, today I was 35L to about the same break point. I normally shoot 16-17MPH, today i was higher, about 18-19. I crank the ball but I have my ways to make the ball go longer when the shot starts checking up. The shot felt like a Cheata Pattern. I used a Brunswick Rampage 15#. Pin 1.5" up and right of ring finger and CG slightly kicked to the right by about half inch. I shot 226, 201, and 205 for a 632 series. (701 after handicap) As long as i stayed firm with everything, i did well.
Had a blast, the pros were comical, doing tricks, destracting each other, helping some of the people with splits. Michael Haugen Jr. even did a shot with a chair in the lanes with a young teenage girl sitting in it, failed to strike however.
I feel like I did well, hoping to cash but not expecting to. I heard a few scores, highest i heard was 712 after handicap. Looking forward to the Chicago Land open. Im doing the pro/am at 4PM saturday then i have 3 tickets to the TV Finals.
