A little help please!!
« on: November 21, 2005, 07:02:38 AM »
Hello, Can anyone tell me what would be the best cleaner for my finger inserts?
I have a lot of oil and grime in them. Someone said acetone but, I heard that will melt the inserts. Hopefully, it is something I have at home to clean them.I just don't want to clean them and then have a slick surface. I want them back to the sticky kind of surface.....Thanks a bunch!!!

When I used to have inserts I did indeed use acetone to slightly dissolve material from them to make them larger, so I'd avoid that.

Rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip or paper towel.

A good, degreasing kitchen cleaner will also be helpful - just normal stuff you get in the supermarket. Q-tip and/or paper towels are best option to apply.
