Virtual Energy
« on: December 03, 2012, 04:16:53 PM »
I just picked up a used but in new condition a Storm Virtual Energy. The house I bowl leagues at lay a 40' pattern with 22' of reverse oil so there tends to be a lot carry down fast as these are five person teams. Where would this ball fit in my arsenal along with:
Rogue Cell
Storm Hybrid Heat
Grand Illusion

Stroker with 15mph. I like to play out to 8-10 most nights but have had times were playing more to 13-14 is needed. Thanks

Between your Rogue Cell and the Heat, but you still have a pretty big gap in that lineup.

If you put the box finish on the VE and a 2000 grit on the Rouge Cell, it will make a nice 1-2 combo. Both are very strong balls.

I forgot to list  I also have the Roto Grip Bandit, and yes I did leave Energy at OOB and the Rogue is at 2000 matte. Thanks for the response I have just started bowling this year and all the help I get will be great.

Then your Bandit (OOB finish) will slot nicely between the Heat and VE.

As for ability to handle oil, I would list them Rouge Cell, VE, Bandit, GI and Heat.

You could change the surfaces a bit between the GI and Heat to give you more options.
