The top of the pin does have a small chip. Honestly, the pin should have been moved up or down, by a small amount, but it was an honest mistake by my ball driller.
FWIW, I took the finger insert out to examine the crack and a very little peice of the top of the pin chipped away, mostly from the scribe marks, which were made to drill the finger holes. The pin literally chipped on the scribe line. There are no cracks which continue further down.
I was hoping someone could get some use out of the ball, as it has been just sitting around taking up space. It is in great shape, otherwise.
Please make an offer, if you are interested, as I understand people having reservations about a chipped pin.
