I had my Mayhem drilled with the control layout. I bowl in a scratch league where we have four person teams and bowl four games. They put heavy oil down from 10 to 10 down to 34 feet and outside 5 is out of bounds. I have been having a terrible time getting anything to react and carry because of carrydown. The MAYHEM with this drilling was great. I shot a 234 and a 258 right out of the box! I had to put it away in the third game because the heads started drying out, but I was able to switch to my polished Colossus Supreme and go back where I started with the Mayhem. I shot a 245 the last game. GREAT ball MO!

This ball ROCKS!!! I have never sent messengers like this with any other ball! Laid the ball out 3in.pin-pap 5in. mb to split the difference between the strong and control layout for medium track player's. 3/4 oz. hole on val from midline through cg gave me 3/4 side weight. Ball had 3 in. pin and 3.25 top. It needs head oil for my 15-16 mph ball speed but that is when the Onslaught comes out. I just ordered another Mayhem so I can polish it, can't wait to try it out!!

Hey everyone, I got my mayhem at the camp at columbia nd I love it. Mo set it up and freddy Caroll drilled it. I lvoe the ball it's works like a charm. I mean I can get lined up with it and I can carry great. I through it the first time at my home house(blue ball) and I had the first nine the first game and I'm 14 btw. This ball is great. I think everyone should have one!! Ihave a 15lb Mayhem and it's totally Awesome!!!!!

BIG OIL=GREAT CHOICE!!!

SPECS: Pin was below my ring finger and the mass bias was out about 5 inches this drilling was kind of experimental and it worked okay for me but not that great PAP was out about 5 1/2 inches with this set up.

HOUSE SHOTS: I only used this ball on a house shot in two houses both houses were laying very similar shot but one house was wood and the other synthetic.

WOOD HOUSE: Oil to about 38 feet and buff to 42 feet very dry outside boards. I Only throw this ball a couple of times this is what I saw. I would throw the ball at about 13th board at the arrows and feed it out only to about 10-7th board at the break point and the ball would slowly turn and rumble back to the pocket, break point was always real early 35 to 40 feet down the lane even when I would throw the ball real hard. Mayhem always played a league shot and any shot for that matter very consistently. Ball retained alot of energy even though it rolled so early good hit and carry even on poor shots off of my hand.
Only thing I had to be careful of was missing to the right of the shot it was so dry that the ball would burn out and wet noodle itself into the pins.

SYNTHETIC HOUSE: The lane condition was almost identical (the two houses are across town from another and the bowlers in each place can get a good rivalry going every now and then.) But in this house there was alot more juice on the outside of the lane. I used the same shot has the wood house and the only real large difference was I had alot more room left of the shot to miss there was enough oil on the outside for the ball to cut through and make that big arcing turn into the pins. Like the first house hit and carry were tremendous and the ball never slowed down one bit in the years I used it as matter of fact a guy uses it Monday nights at the Synthetic house and has alot of sucess with it.

TOURNAMENT SHOTS: Was Mayhem's time to shine if the oil was long or even remotely long and it was real heavy and long this was my first choice out of the bag. I played this on many shots and each shot and house was a little different but this ball was so strong and consistent that I didn't deviate a whole lot from the league line I described above! On Sport patterns Mayhem would get down the lane a little farther and turn a little harder throwing more pins around when it got to the pocket. I only had to adjust the line one or two boards left or right as needed and I was set to go this is  the most consistent ball on tough oil I have ever seen or thrown.

OVERALL: Like I said earlier the most consistent ball I have thrown or seen on tough oil. It never faltered or staggered even when everyone else's stuff couldn't get into the pins this ball did. Storms Fear Factor was released the same season as Mayhem and whenever I bowled against someone on heavy Oil I would pull out Mayhem and they would have Fear Factor and Mayhem always hooked more and hit so much harder the difference could be heard, even lanes away! Great Choice if you want something to be consistent give one a try

After being away from bowling since 1974, a friend told me to grab my ball and let's bowl a few. Picking up my Amflite 3 Dot, he laughed and asked "Where do you think you are going with that?" He told me about so many changes that have happened, gave me his two year old Mayhem and told me to get it plugged and drilled.

After bowling three months in a Summer league, I am very close to that 200 league average, including a 287 game. I don't know what other balls are out there or how they work, but this Mayhem has me as a winner.
