SPECS: Pin is above the fingers and the mass bias is out about 1 1/2 inches out and I don't reembark if there was a balancing hole or not.
Ball Surface:1200 shine

Ths #1: 38 feet buff to 42 feet or so had enough juice to create a little hang if you pushed it out to far . synthetic lanes from Brunswick.
I would release at about 20th board  send the ball across 15 at the arrows and way out to about 7-5 at the break point about 13 feet from the pins and the ball would scream back to the pocket with very little trouble. At this house I had to be very sure to have alot of speed in the ball if I slowed just a touch the ball would jump early and cross the heap pin. Hit was incredible and sometimes a little to good I left a couple alot of 9 pins when I use this ball

THS #2 Wood lanes oil to 40 feet or heavier in the middle and dry outside very dry! no hang at all here it goes out it comes back with a vengeance even urethane could turn to much on the outside.
Release at 24th board and pray I found enough juice on the lanes to get the ball down the lane far enough tried to go just inside of 15 usually wanted about 17th at the arrows and about 1oth at the break point any farther left and the ball would jump to hard to control. On this condition the ball was a little to flippy for my taste and after the first game I would put it away.

Tournaments: I have only used this ball in one tournament and I was really impressed. The shot was nasty heavy and almost flat across with no backend to speak of. It was like a sport pattern that had been laid after league and the league shot wasn't stripped from the lane. I pulled out my Shock&Awe after practice and it worked beautifully went down really nice and had a incredible turn into the pocket. I was standing about center and throwing 12 at the arrows and 10-8 at the break point. This ball created room where there was none Everyone else had a struggle to get to the pocket and I didn't even flinch.
 

Overall a great ball when you have enough oil to hold it on line otherwise put it away to snappy on the dry. This is Pearlized ball that can still handle a good amount of oil! I especially like the power this ball brings to the table as long as the ball gets to the pocket it will carry pretty well but watch out for that 9 pin and 4 pin when you drift a little high especially on a shot that has real dry backends or outsides. Plain and simple this ball will give you a little extra room one almost any pattern that you will see and have more than enough hook and hit to get the job done!

i picked up an S&A a week ago used with only a few games on it...15#, pin drilled right above ring finger....before throwing it i knew its reputation for a lenghty ball with a snappy backend, but wow!!...for a guy who throws the ball hard with a lot of revs, i was amazed at the amount of movement this thing has in the backend...basiclly for me it was stand left and throw across middle arrow out to about the 6 or 7 board and watch it change direction in an instant...i thought that nothing could out do my strike zone but i was wrong...the carry on this ball is unbelieveable...messengers flew almost every light shot taking out the 10 pin...the way it reacted was like the midlane was almost non existant...just rolled out and snapped instantly...the lanes were medium to heavy oil at the time...after the first 2 games i had to bag it for the night...if your loooking for a ball with some backend i would recommend checkin this baby out...hope i could help out...thanks for readin...
