well i really dont know, i know what killed my first WMB, i used it on everything. light baked flood fresh. but all the other ones i kept like new, i didint want a reapeat of that. i baked them after 15-20 games. i kept the covers clean and i never used them unkess i really needed to. but none lasted more than 2 months. the highloads died in about 2 weeks, and now i have like 6 light oil balld and i should have 6 flood balls. and i actually was considering a s&d but 90% of the people i talk to say the tsa is stronger in oil anyways. so i figure if i can get a cover that wont die on me and is stronger than particle any ways...

One thing I've heard about is that they tend to not respond to sandpaper.  The sand paper scrapes out the particles or shatters them and accelerates the breakdown process of the ball.  Buffer pads/abralon pads do not have this effect, perhaps that is something to keep in mind.

Just wondering, Team Morich, you get three Awesome hooks, three AFs, three S&D's, etc.  Although each layout probably comes into play, what layout do you find yourself gravitating to most often?  What tends to work well on different patterns, longer, shorter, heavier, lighter, and these variations in sport patterns?  Do you find that a cartain ball matches up better to your game than something else?  I know there are alot of questions here, sorry, but I'm very interested.

I use the Standard layout the most and really is my go to ball most of the time.  This drill matches up with my game and is just so readable for me.  The Super layout is nice when I need to go straight up the lane and when the shot is out around the first arrow.  The Flip Layout is the one I use the least.  But it does come in handy every now and then.  I use it when I bowl on sport shots or PBA conditions. I hope this helps.

Team Morich, dumb question... target weighting holes still get placed in the direction of center of grip towards cg correct?

Thanks.  A standard type of drill between 3 1/2" and 4" pin to pap with a similar mb position is the drilling I get on pretty much every Morich ball first.  I'm a bit surprised that you don't throw the asym flip drilling more.  In each of the videos that drilling seems to hit the hardest.

Last week in my Sport Shot league, I used my AH when an area around 12-15 dried up and the resto of the lane was still very fresh.  I was able to move in with that piece and get a strong reaction off the spot.  Nothing else would recover so strong from deep inside on the heavy shot.  Have you noticed the same thing, that the Awesome Hook serves as an Awesome Flip for heavier conditions.  Although my standard S&D had great angularty I find that my Awesome Hook allows me to get even deeper on a heavy shot without sacrificing carry.

Allairforcetwice, this is how my ball driller explain the target weighting to me.

Not always, the hole will go on the midline if the finger or thumb is 1/4 oz or below. If it is more than 1/4 oz then you will need to move to the heavy side of the midline to drill the hole. In the case of drilling the fingers or thumb deep it could shift the hole to the opposite side of the midline from the CG.

Thanks... I have a S&D which if I used the chart and my theory put the x-hole exactly where if I had a pinky finger hole... it would have bothered me too much... we opted for a small traditional VAL x-hole and deeper finger holes to deal with the excess finger and side weight. It was a pin in ball and the patterns I chose made us think a lot harder... I have my S&D set up Std Assym Strong Arc and my AF set up Assym Flip Most Continuation... after years of Symmetrical cores I am really liking the hit and carry of these two balls... my next Morich balls will have longer pin placements so I can lengthen my transitions.
