Wow, so bowl-a-rama isn't a super wall? That's what all you guys normally bowl on??? Wow. I bowled there once when i was first starting out and shot my first ever 600....Geez. I thought that was an uber wall or something, but it's....normal?? I need to start bowling some normal houses then!!

Dean can flat out play. At Bowl-O-Rama it is impossible to throw a bad shot if you're playing inside of 10, but then again I haven't bowled there in like 3 years. I remember bowling a JBT there my freshman year in college, Scratch division only had 14 bowlers and they were cutting to the top 6 for matchplay, the cut for the 5 games was only +183!!.....that's right, only a 237 avg to make matchplay. I think I came in 3rd to last and I was still +40
That is an amazing set though, that's what happens when you put an awesome ball in the hands of an awesome bowler that knows what they're doing.

I work and bowl at Bowl-O-Rama and it is not a super wall but has been softened up lately, last week a guy in the same league shot back to back 300's...not like the other center in the area Berks Lanes where just about anyone can score...the thing with rama (as with many other centers) is carrying your corner pins, you have to watch ur speed and angles. Dean is just flat out awesome, one of the best bowlers i have seen when it comes to hand positions. As stated before he can avg 230-240 easily. I have bowled with him a number of times and he is a class act.
What many people dont know about his series is that it was rolled on two different pair...he started on 11-12 i believe and the ball return broke in the seventh frame of the first game, they handed him the ball out of the return by hand so he could finish on that pair with his 299...he then moved to a fresh pair at the other end of the house (which usually plays slightly different) and went 300-299 beautiful ball on the last shot but stoned the 8 pin again...Congrats Dean!
