Which Mo Rich ball?

Which Mo Rich ball is better for control on tough lane conditions.  I'm talking med to heavy oil.

Seek & Destroy would be my recommendation.

Particle Solid, Strong Core, sounds like a great matchup!

Out of the current line, I would say the Revs as it is more even than the Flip...on a med condition, the Hook, Seek, and TSA are all too much ball (if factory surface)....the Sahara is the latest ball and is better suited to drier lanes.

Actually for control, on carrydown or tough conditions, if you can get a Weapon of Mass Bias, that would be my choice, smooth as the day is long, controllable and hooks...

By far the Revs will be the ball to go to for this condition and shot. The Seek needs true heavy oil unless, it has a weak drill. Also, the Revs is more consistant than the Seek due to the differences in the cores.

I agree...if one can get a WMB...it is smooth like Trauma says and can solve the Harshest wet drys!

It is used a lot in our harsh wet dry environment...and well.

The Seek and Destroy is probably the best today and is a touch flippier than the WMB.

Both can be polished and waxed to handle dryer!

I totally agree with TraumaBill and LuckyLefty. The WMB handles alot of oil and gives a super smooth arc reaction through the whole lane. It is a control piece for wet/dry.

I have had some success with some of my customers with the awesome hook for control by doing mo's super symetrical drilling and then smoothing the surface(2000,4000 abralon).

I haven't tried any of the new releases, but it's hard to imagine a more smooth ball for the conditions you described than the WMB.  Like I said in your other post about tournament arsenals, the Tour Power (a favorite control ball for many, including myself) is almost flippy by comparison.  As long as you have head oil, if you need to control the back ends, the WMB is a great ball.  It's the reaction I originally wanted out of my Ebonite V2 Particle.  Early revs (but not early hook), good midlane read, controllable finish, and still hit.  I keep mine at 1000 grit.  At the box surface of 500, I'd imagine you'd need a lot of head oil.  It's also a ball that does best with less.  A lot of revs don't make it a bad ball, but trying to cover a ton of boards isn't the ball's strength.  MoRich makes other balls for that if that's your thing.

This thread is making my happy about my recent WMB purchase...

I threw it for the first time yesterday and my initial impression is favorable. The true test will come this weekend at a local tournament. I've read this ball reaches it's full potential in oil and I'll be rolling on the US Open shot so wish me luck!
