I was curious if anyone would care to weigh in on how these three balls compare to one another. I have an AI, love the reaction but, all three have the same coverstocks. The differnece is in the weight block.

Vapor Zone I have not thrown, I have had the AI and the S&A, the S&A with the same drilling as the AI is 3-4 boards stronger in over all hook from my perspective.

Which did you find had more backend?

Thanks...if I'm not mistaken the seek & destroy has MoRich's C4 Reactive with added particle. So, it's Brunswick's activator coverstock with added particles. Morich claims that it is an "angular" particle ball. I guess the only concern I have is that I've never really warmed up to particle balls. They don't seem to have the same snap as a Reactive for me. Also, do you think the combination of the activator with particle will stand up and avoid the classic "particle death"?

I have not thrown the Vapor Zone, but I have both the AI and S&A. The S&A, by far, has the bigger backend over the AI. I have them drilled with the same layout. The S&A goes down the lane a bit further, then snaps with a hard backend motion to the pocket.

Thanks everyone...you all have certainly given me shomething to think about.
"The C4 Reactive is not activator, i believe it is pk18 with some additives"...jeremyo316 are you sure?
I was of the impression that it was the activator coverstock. If you are correct, that explains a lot to me. I have a Morich TA and truthfully, I've never really warmed up to that ball. I was told it was the same as Brunswick's Ultimate Inferno but with a stronger core. However, it sure does not behave that way. I can't seem to get it to do much.
volsfan846...sounds like we have similar styles. My "go to" ball is my AI however, there are times when it does have some trouble. If I get into a situation with carrydown or a bit too much oil it can squirt a bit.
The UI is a good choice but, does not produce a pronounced snap. So, sometimes I have an in between shot where neither of them is producing consistent entry angle. The result, yup...a 10 pin. I tried a Morich TA but, I can't seem to figure out what that ball wants to do. My thought was that the TA would produce more of a snap but, it doesn't. It just sort of wiggles on the wet and hooks too early on the dry. Its drilled pin over ring with cg and mb kicked. The AI is drilled pin under ring and cg kicked with small flare increaseing weight hole. The UI drilled for heavy roll...pin under bridge CG kicked.
Second shift with carrydown and burnt heads/mids I have a difficult time lining up as well.

It sounds like you guys prefer Morich balls; the Seek & Destroy and the TSA.
I've been using my Columbia Aftershock straight up about the 6/7 boards and if I'm accurate that night, I shoot 700+ doing that.
My Big Bully reads the lane earlier, but not much backend. I want something that'll rev-up quick and has a strong backend to be my main heavy-oil ball; the Aftershock lopes too much - I like the ball, but it's not giving me a lot of confidence and I figure the newer balls are better technology. Help me step into the 21st century!
Thanks!

I get a tremendous move out of my TA.
Well what don't I get a tremendous move out of!
However I've noticed faster bowlers exhibit more what you talked about and then they go to their Mayhems! SNAP.
As to the durability of the WMD. I have a friend that uses that or his Sahara every week! Both hookin.....real good and hittin!
