awesme hook and upcomming ball news.

talkin with my ball driller today, he said that the awesome hook will NOT hook as much as the total shock and awe..

and the next ball out will be called the awesome revs, and it IS suppose to hook more than the total shock and awe

I have one and can tell you the contrary.  Just look at the cover, same, and the core stronger #'s and you can tell before even drilling one.  I have also drilled one and can tell you that it hooks a ton, slightly longer than the Total Shock and Awe with more backend.  I took it to my sport shot league and was able to play lines that others would try and leave wash outs.  Its a real hook monster.

I have yet to hear about the next ball, but I usually don't as I'm not a staffer or anything like that.  I just wait until I get the info from a proven source or see it for myself.

Sorry the way I wrote it seemed as though I'm throwing out your word, or getting angry, that was not my intent.  I just have spent a good ammount of time on the forum and alot of people even pro shop operators tend to come up with bad info.  Once again I'm not saying that your pro shop operator is wrong, but to take it seriously, I'll have to hear something from Team Morich as he is close to Mo, or see a ball sheet or something.  

What I wrote kind of reminds me of that Chapelle Show skit where Dave defends R Kelly saying that to consider him guilty, he'll have to see the video with the girl showing two forms of government ID, and singing pee on you, have R Kelly 's Grandmother there verifyig that its R Kelly, etc.

I am looking at a Morich Chart that shows the AH about 5 boards right of the TS&A with the same hook shape... seems as though the latter can play the heavier or middle of the lane... Just my interpretation as I am new to Morich stuff.

you have to think though, you get the ball more right, it will come back because its drier on the outside

its about the bowler and his likings, not the ball and how much it can hook.

hook is not always the best solution.. sure i can cross 38 of the 39 boards, but it doesn't make me good.

Its kind of stupid to call someone out over saying his rather than their.  One can call this person out in the fact that the discussion is a matter of degree.  They aren't saying that the Total Shock and Awe is a better ball because it can hook five more boards, they are discussing that the Total Shock and Awe can potentially handle more oil than the Awesome Hook.  Thats how one creates an arsenal whether it is the Rampage can hook three more boards than the Punisher or the TS&A can hook five more than the AH it all boils down to a matter of degree.  Get equipment that compliments the other balls in the arsenal and you have something.

As for the AH, it may or may not hook less, the main difference between the ball and the TS&A in my opinion is the fact that it gets down the lane easier and has a stronger backend motion.  You can get deep inside with the AH and not have to worry about not having enough pop on the backend to carry the ten out.  Great ball for playing heavier patterns from inside.

i didn't say 210 was good either, did i, are we making assumptions? i just stated 193 is an (average) average on a ths.  Im pretty sure we all can agree with that, but maybe not you, is 193 really a GOOD bowler?

the AH does hook more. and i have to talk to my driller about the revs thing. he is a personal friend of mo, so if he dosent know then its not happening.
