I hope it is infact angular. I have found in the past Morich balls that are supposed to be angular are angular compared to Morichs other balls but, are rolly compared to the competition. Keeping my fingers crossed.

IMO it's going to be the same thing. With a MB rating of .030.. It might be angluar compares to other MoRich products, but I imagine it's going to be rolly compared to the competition.

That's what MoRich is all about.. that's what Mo Pinel believes in and he's sticking with it, since well.. it's been working.

I do though, think this is going to be an amazing ball.. if I get a chance to find a used one eventually, I'm going to be all over it!

I will probally hold out until I can find a used one also. Unless, I see someone throw one and it knocks my dong in the the dirt by how good it goes down the lane. I have a Ravage in that spot anyway so, I would have to be REALLY impressed to grab one.

ON another note, I dont mind smooth and rolly but, it has to be very continous and work well with all hand positions. That is why I love the Ravage and Seek but, I didnt care much for the Flip or Revs so much. I found they only worked on certain lane conditions and only with certain releases. I like to come all the way around it when I need to and stay almost all the way up the back when I need to also. I need the ball to agree with it to perform. Ya dig?

Hmm...My Shock & Awe is quite angular, the most angular ball I have and as angular as anything I see on the lanes in my house.  Maybe I don't get out enough.

I had one. Though it was a really good ball, I wouldnt even call it angular. I had 2 different layouts on it both of them were a rolly reaction. Nothing wrong with it at all, it just isnt a ball that flips over.

From what I've read/heard this ball is going to be somewhat like a Hammer Toxic.  Long and a hard backend.  Probably a medium oil ball.  With as straight as he throws, I bet WRW will have a field day with this.  It looks like this ball's desired move to the pocket is exactly what he likes to throw.

I am glad to see another PK-18 ball. Activator is good but, I like PK-18 alot better.

Is it PK-18, or is it MoRich's equivalent to the Red Zone? (
I do not know; I am asking.

(Red Zone: for a polished solid Activator, it's one darned flippy ball useful only on medium oil.)

Well, they've never used solid activator on any of their stuff, add that to teh fact that the vanguard is alot stronger than the zone asym, and at the very least, it should be different.  I'm pretty sure that its the C4 enhanced, which, correct me if I'm wrong, was not the cover of the Ravage, which was closer to straight pk18.  That being said, I do find some merit in calling it a Ravage on steroids.  I figure that the solid polished cover should allow this ball to really make up ground on the backend.  I also figure that considering that the other covers on the dual flip caps were very agressive (dull sanded pk18 and compound pearl particle) the polished solid reactive should be a really different look that is really strong on the back.

It is a straight and simple PK18 solid coverstock, polished OOB - have the info from independent and reliable sources. Dual flip block Vanguard core, lowered RG, huge MB differential.

Also, check this:
http://www.absbowling.co.jp/products/balls/awesome_finish/index.html

Funny thing to me is that ABS shows the AFi to be longer and with a more aggressive back end than the Flip? But I guess that the new ball will be a good reaction complement between the Flip and the Revs, with a reliabel cover that is easy to tweak. Even though I might not need this ball, I'll probably get one and hope for a controllable medium condition killer

If you guys want an angular look with a mo ball, you have to give it a asymmetrical flip layout. This will make any of his balls a unstopable beast on the backend.

so i guess the people who told me this ball should compare to the total NV are wrong? im looking at something more like a beefed up smash time pearl?

Why not go with an Angular One? I can get you a pretty good price on one if you have interest

Correct, PK-18 is the cover and that is from the "official source."

I am really looking forward to the Finish. It just comes a tad too late - I just got myself a Frankie May Gryphon as a control piece on medium conditions, but is is stronger and its coverstock more aggressive than I thought. With a polished PK18 solid coverstock and that extra length (to fit under my S&A ) the Finish appears to be a ball that will fit - accidently - into my arsenal.
