How do you think the Aweome line stand againt others

How do you thik the Awesome line stands against other lines i.e. One line, Agent line, Action line so on and so forth. Personally I think the Awesome Line is probaly one of the best in recent memory. I belive that this line can hook as well as any other line outh there and it hits like NO other line out there. that is my opinion I would like to know yours. Thanks for the responses!

The dual cap vanguard wasn't meant to be a way more agressive core than the bottom or top flip caps.  As I understand it, the bottom cap is probably the rolliest design followed by the dual, with the top cap being the flippiest version.  I personally don't think that there is another company that can compare with Morich as far as high end.  

The ones seemed to be pretty good, but I personally believe that the best One was the first.  The BO and the IO were good, but very arcy, and the AO, and TNV seem to sort of defeat the purpose of a pearl ball.  They both check up really quickly.  I have a AO, and I might try the TNV, but if I do I certainly will try a more mild layout, or at the very least, a very high pin to get some length.  With the same layout, as my Awesome Flip, my AO was markedly sooner, with less on the back.  The AF with its more mild cover, really seemed to allow the core to shine.

This is all opinion though, every company has good stuff.

My only complaint... make some mellower versions of an assym core or milder coverstocks please! I hate to buy a topshelf ball and drill the guts out of it. I end up looking at other companies for burnt to dry tracks or really short oil conditions (e.g. my D/T Crisis Solid!)

Otherwise... they definitely match up to my game... more so than Storm or Storm-made Dynothane... Really liking the Threshold, NE10, Crisis Solid and the 44/357 Magnums and a spare ball as a 6-ball arsenal.

As far as what you are basing your opinion on, its increadibly biased.  Big companies like Ebonite, Brunswick, and Storm have so many staff members that its not fair to say that Morich, Roto grip (thats not even useable in pba competition), and other smaller companies are inferior.  If you will conted that these companies have the most bowlers because they make the best stuff, that is also untrue.  It is partially true that to stay around companies have to make good equipment over a long haul to stay around for so many years, but it is not necessarily true that they are making the best stuff on the market all the time.  

Moreover, many people like you base their opinions off of how certain equipment matches up to pba conditions that are, for the most part never seen in the league environment (this is not to say that you don't do research, just by being on this forum you're doing a form of research).  On tour its all about how equipment matches up to your game and the patterns that you see.  Patrick Allen didn't make a show while he was with track this year, and since he has gone to ebonite its been like three shows or something like that in fewer tournaments.  Yet, if we look at Wes Mallot, he seems to have no problem matching up to Track stuff, as he is once again having a great year.

As far as balls for lighter oil, Mo seems to be listening.  He tried the Sahara, and in the past, the Pioneer.  Yet these balls didn't sell particularly well.  I personally feel as though it had alot to do with the drilling of the balls.  One can drill a morich ball strong for your typical tracker with a 4 1/2 approx pap, with a drilling where they do not measure the pap.  At times the pin and mb will fall into a good position, yet when drilling a ball weak where you want the pin in the 2 1/2" range, such an approach will very rarely lead to a 2 1/2" pin to pap, for most bowlers the drill doesn't look right.  I was with a driller at one point in time that took this approach, everything was pin over the ring, under the ring, or next to the finger.  My pap is 5" over 1/2" up so such balls for the most part were ok, but I had to go to very weak stuff to get something a bit mild.

One more thing.  I too would like to see a cheaper Morich ball, one that you don't have to pay 180 for to do virtually nothing on the back.  Although you may get a bit better hit from a Sahara drilled weak than from a mid to low end ball from another company, often times, the lane will provide enough power to those balls to work properly.

1. You see MoRich every other week now that they signed WRW.
2. Since all Mo's equipment is high end, I imagine they could make the same claim that Lane #1 has: more award scores per ball(hell, my Awesome Hook has 5 scores this season, my Revs two)
3. While every MoRich ball has a distinct purpose in your arsenal, they are all infinitely adjustable.  Get the flare want from the drilling and the weight hole and then adjust the cover for the condtion you will face.  My Awesome Hook has worked very well at 500, 1000, 2000, and even rough buff.

MoRich balls are premium bowling equipment.  They offer a distinct roll that you do not find in any other companies' balls.  So, yes, the Awesome line stands up to any other line out there.

As far as lighter oil goes, use less aggressive drillings. I have a SA that has been drilled to handle conditions with a less than favorable amount of oil.  Ring finger is drilled into the pin with mass bias left and down 45  degrees from thumb hole. The thing is now perfect for lighter conditions.

Mo balls are very versatile. Drillings and coverstocks both have a lot of play.

I still hate spending 180-200 bucks on a Awesome Flip if I have to use a control drilling and a flare-reducing x-hole... when I can use a Crisis, A Tropical Storm, Scout/R or other mild reactive cover/core combo... so I do... I can drill a Awesome Revs to roll straight but would I want to?

I agree that the roll, hit and carry is unsurpassed... I just see a lot of Morich users going outside the lineup at the low end... not taking a cheap shot here just my observation.

I will 2nd that on that Mo does cover the med - heavy oil lane conditions.  You would see more people throwing his stuff in tournament and on the PBA tour if he would make a less aggressive ball and core.  I think he does have the strongest core and balls in the bowling.  But if you want to cover the whole market and all different lane conditions he needs to make some medium to low end equipment.  Perhaps a symmetrical core would be a good start.  But I don't believe we will ever see him make one.  
Look at the guys that are bowling good on tour with Morich- Jack Jurek and WRW.
WRW can strike with any company but he basically throws it straight and with a low rev rate.  Jack Jurek is as smooth as they come and he bowls real well with Mo's stuff.  But there has been several guys use Mo's equipment from time to time on tour and have found that they work well on the longer patterns and the higher volumes.  These guys also have higher rev rates.  Mike Devaney,Brian Kretzer,Danny Wiseman and a few others have used his stuff with good success but they cant use them on all of the patterns that they bowl on. There just is better options from other companies that will work better for them.

Remember back in the day Mo Pinel was a really good bowler won a lot of tourneys in his day.  Mo is left handed and has a track like an ashtray. So stronger balls work great for him.  So he designs strong bowling balls for his company.
