I wonder what would happen if you added rough-buff to this ball? I know it would make it go longer, but is that all it would do?

Edit: Would it bring it closer to the REVS as far as reaction goes?

Just have to add in that this is probably the ugliest ball I have seen in a LONG time.

It may.  Consider that the Revs is particle and pearlized.  You would be taking a reactive solid with a stronger block to essentially the same grit.  Personally considering that the Revs is light load, I consider it to have more of the properties of a pearl as opposed to having the properties of a particle ball.  Therefore I would imagine that the Revs would be longer and more angular with less overall hook at the same grit.  I'd assume 3 - 4 feet more of length for the revs and 5 boards less overall hook.
